About the Role:

As a Clinical Manager you will be working collaboratively within the leadership team within this medium aged care service within a beautiful location in Hobart.

You will thrive leading your team, providing them with the motivation & continuous development required to be able to perform their duties, whilst ensuring every resident’s clinical care needs are met & maintained in line with care planning & industry standards.

Being a hands on leader, you will be comfortable & willing to provide hands on clinical support when required.

Being an excellent communicator, you will establish & build effective relationships ensuring that residents & families are comfortable & are involved in care planning & daily living goals.

Main Duties:

  • Provide clinical guidance to residents & care staff
  • Undertake resident assessments & case conferencing in line with standards
  • Accurate completion, review & updating of relevant documentation
  • Motivation, training & development of clinical team members
  • Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met

Skills & Requirements:

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse registration with previous leadership experience
  • Staff mentorship & development experience.
  • Up to date working knowledge & experience achieving accreditation standards
  • Ability to identify & improve areas of clinical risk & quality guidelines
  • Consultative & effective communication skills.
