Salary: $85,120 – $91,586 (SCHADS Level 4) + Super, 17.5% leave loading, and salary packaging options

About the Service:
The ROSA Program provides essential therapeutic support for children and youth aged 4-18 within the child protection system. With a focus on trauma-informed practice, the program offers counseling, behavior support, and advocacy to promote stability, resilience, and well-being. The ROSA team works to address the impact of disrupted attachment and trauma, providing a safe and supportive space for young people and their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Client Support:
- Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed counseling for children’s behavioral and emotional needs.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaboration & Advocacy:
- Partner with care teams, schools, and other professionals to deliver holistic care.
- Educate caregivers on trauma impacts, offering support strategies for children’s well-being.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Maintain confidential client records, adhering to professional documentation standards.
- Meet all reporting requirements for Child Safety and relevant stakeholders.

Skills & Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioral Sciences, with relevant professional association membership.
- Experience: Understanding of trauma and attachment, with skills in engaging children in therapeutic settings.
- Cultural Competency: Ability to work sensitively with Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and CALD communities.
- Compliance: Current driver’s license, Working with Children Blue Card, and Disability Worker Screening.
