Evolve Talent is seeking skilled Heavy Industrial Maintenance Electricians for a fixed site located near Lane Cove based in Sydney. These roles are ideal for individuals with a background in industrial settings, offering the opportunity to work with a leading company on diverse and challenging projects. These are fixed site, project and service based positions.
About the Role & Client
Our client is a respected name in industrial electrical services, specialising in both installation and maintenance of complex electrical systems for manufacturing, infrastructure, and Industrial facilities. As an Industrial Electrician, you’ll be responsible for either the installation of electrical systems or providing ongoing service and support for existing equipment, depending on your expertise and role. Coordinating works and developing relationships is a must.
- Perform planned repairs and maintenance on electrical equipment
- Trouble shooting machines and working on breakdowns
- Upgrading conveyor systems and associated equipment
- Working on Motors and VFDs
- PLC
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency
- Install and configure electrical systems and equipment according to project specifications, with a focus on safety and precision.
- Collaborate with project teams and report on project progress.
- Have the ability to Tag and lock out electrical systems to perform safe works
- Manage your time to complete Electrical tasks
- Have the ability to work on a variation of machines, moulder, lathes, ladles & furnaces
- Termination and testing skills
- Uphold strict safety standards and compliance across all work sites

Skills & Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification as an Industrial Electrician – Australian Supervisor License
- Proven experience in either installation or service work within industrial settings
- Experience with controls and automation
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, plans & schematics
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Valid NSW driver’s license and White Card.
