The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity now exists within a leading consumer goods organisation for an experienced Injury Management & Wellbeing professional with strong Return to Work and Injury Management experience. The role is based at a large, fast-paced Distribution Centre in the Western Suburbs of Sydney.
The Role
Working closely with the Safety Advisor as well as on-site physios, this role is responsible for workers’ compensation, return to work & injury management, while also driving proactive injury prevention and wellbeing initiatives.
This role will see you use your impeccable communication skills and expertise in RTW/IM, where you will be regarded as the subject matter expert. You will play a critical role within the site, supporting injured workers returning to work, while also engaging and educating managers and staff to promote a strong safety & wellbeing culture.
To be successful, you must bring:
- Demonstrated RTW & IM experience working for an employer (not insurer).
- Return to Work certification (essential).
- Strong communication and consultation skills with the ability to engage all levels of staff and
external providers.
- Expertise in discussing injury & treatment-related issues with relevant stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex claims effectively.
- Experience in developing and implementing proactive employee health & wellness programs.
- Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field – OR significant IM/RTW experience within a fast-paced DC environment.
