This role can be based in either Hobart or Launceston, with a vehicle provided for travel to various sites.
About the job
Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to drive and implement safety initiatives across sites, while providing coaching and mentorship to operational teams.
Our client is looking for a proactive HSE Manager who can act as a true business partner, offering expert advisory support and tailored HSE solutions to internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong, results-oriented approach and the ability to engage with the business, coach leaders, and continuously improve safety and environmental performance. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive, engaged safety culture across the organisation.
- Broad HSE skillset including auditing, training, risk management, investigation
- Proven ability to influence, coach and engage with stakeholders
- Confidence in your technical expertise to advise on all aspects of HSE
- Coaching and driving a positive safety culture
