We’re on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to help us keep our fast-paced, high-performing food manufacturing facility running smoothly and safely. This hands-on role is key to maintaining equipment reliability, supporting production efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

This is to work with a leading food and beverage manufacturer that have large sites in Victoria and all across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely and safe manner.
• Contribute to site projects, continuous improvement, and maintenance planning.
• Support production teams with autonomous maintenance tasks and SHEQ compliance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist in parts and stock control.
• Manage both planned and unplanned maintenance tasks efficiently.

What we are Looking For:

• Trade qualified Fitter with 2+ years’ experience in an automated food manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance systems (FMECA experience a plus).
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.
• Confident working with automated lines, utilities (boilers, refrigeration, compressors), and ERP/CMMS systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, self-motivated, and calm under pressure.
