Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Brooklyn Workshop & Local Ports
Salary: $50ph + Super + O/T Penalties

• Permanent Position
• Monday to Thursday 6.30am – 3pm and Friday 6.30am – 12.30pm
• Unlimited OT available with full penalties

Short Summary:
Our client is looking for residential Mechanical Service Technicians to work at their site in Henderson and at the local Port Authorities. These are full time permanent positions working on heavy plant equipment such as Forklifts, Reach Stackers, HV Trucks and Overhead/Mobile Cranes within local port authorities. You will be a qualified diesel mechanic, fitter turner within heavy industry.

About the Role & Client:

• Global organisation working across cargo handling solutions within ports, terminals, and distribution centres
• To provide installation, maintenance and support of mobile lifting equipment and other hydraulic mobile plant equipment
• Working Monday to Thursday 6.30am – 3pm and Friday 6.30am – 12.30pm
• Currently our client has unlimited overtime available across evenings and weekends and all O/T is paid at penalty rates
• Must have previous experience working across HV mobile equipment, ideally within ports or distribution

Skills & Requirements:

• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter/Turner or Diesel/HV Fitter
• Must have experience on heavy mobile plant equipment
• Tickets & Licences; C Class DL, FL, EWP, W@H and boom lift highly desirable
• MSIC Card (although this can be obtained if successful)
