Job Title: Mental Health Clinician – Acute Care Services

About the Role & Service:
Join an acute care service dedicated to providing crisis response, assessment, and support to the community. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work in a dynamic environment delivering acute community mental health services, including triage, crisis response, and Emergency Department MHEC interventions.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a passion for mental health to make a significant impact while enjoying the stunning Northern NSW region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct acute mental health assessments, triage, and crisis interventions.
- Provide support to the Emergency Department Mental Health Engagement team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical governance standards.

Skills & Requirements:
- Qualification in Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology.
- Current registration with a relevant professional body (AHPRA or AASW).
- Experience in acute community mental health, including assessment, triage, crisis response, and ED mental health services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
