About the Role:
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work with children of all ages to assess and address their developmental, physical, and sensory needs. You will play an integral role in supporting children to develop essential life skills, enhance their independence, and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored therapy plans for children with various developmental needs
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Participate in case management and multidisciplinary team meetings
Skills & Requirements:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration)
- Previous experience in paediatrics
- Experience working with the NDIS (desirable)
- A compassionate, patient-centred approach to therapy
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
