Head of HR

Our client is a pharmaceutical and supplement manufacturing and distribution business with a few thousand employees across Australia.
The position reports to the HR Director and is supported by a great team and other business units, who collaborate openly to resolve issues.

Desirable experience include:

  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and practices.  
  • Ability to effectively influence the Industrial Relations impact on site 
    performance 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current OH&S legislation and related practices 
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations and industrial relations 
    combined with an understanding of operations within the warehouse and 
    distribution sector 
  • Strong ability to coach line management to create behavioural change 
  • Strong operational HR skill set (eg: HR metrics, recruitment and selection, 
    induction, performance management) 
  • Proven experience in measuring, managing and improving employee 
    engagement 
  • Proven ability to influence and relate to all levels of the organisation 
  • Experienced in the design and delivery of key HR initiatives 
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
