About the Role:
Evolve Talent is recruiting two experienced Senior Remote Aged Care Registered Nurse to run the day-to-day operations and staff at Normanton and Mornington Island Residential Aged Care facilities. These role offers a unique opportunity to work in remote communities, providing quality care to older persons while leading a dedicated team.
This role involves managing cases, conducting assessments, administering medication, assisting with wound care, and providing support and direction to non-clinical staff in the team. Working closely with Enrolled Nurses, Care Workers, and the collaborative healthcare team, the Registered Nurse will deliver person-centered care to support the older persons.
Key Responsibilities:

• • Manage cases and provide assessments.
  • Administer medication and assist with wound care.
  • Provide support and direction to non-clinical staff.
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the facility.
  • Manage behaviours.
  • 24/7 on-call
  • Experience with Leecare for documentation and reporting.
  • Accountable, problem solving and motivated.
  • Demonstrate resilience and the ability to connect with older persons and team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Nursing.
• Full AHPRA registration | No Restrictions
• 4years + experience working in an Aged Care residential facility.
• 1years + experience working in remote areas.
• A current minimum P1 “C” class Queensland driver’s license.
• A current yellow card exemption or a NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement).
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety & You’ completion certificate – Access provided.
