The Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to step into a Senior 2IC role with a leading diagnostic imaging provider in South West Western Australia. This position is based within a public hospital environment while being employed by a highly regarded private organisation.

This role offers genuine career progression for an experienced MIT looking to take the next step into leadership while remaining hands-on clinically. Working closely with the site leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, mentoring staff, and contributing to the continued delivery of high-quality imaging services.

You will work across General X-ray and CT, delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role operates on a rotating roster, including on-call requirements, providing exposure to a diverse and engaging clinical workload.

The Criteria

  • AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
  • Proven experience in General X-ray and CT
  • Previous leadership, mentoring, or senior-level experience highly regarded
  • Ability to participate in rotating rosters and on-call requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient-centred, team-oriented approach
  • Desire to contribute to team leadership and service development
