The Role
We’re recruiting a Family Support Practitioner to join a community-based team in a remote Top End location. Working directly with families referred by Territory Families, you’ll deliver in-home support aimed at strengthening family relationships, improving parenting capacity, and creating safe, stable environments for children. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role where you’ll make a meaningful impact every day.

You’ll be joining a respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service with a strong reputation for delivering wraparound support to the local community. This service values cultural safety, long-term engagement, and empowering families through consistent and compassionate care.

The Criteria
- Experience working with families, children or young people in a support or case management capacity
- A trauma-informed, strengths-based approach
- Comfortable working in a remote Aboriginal community
- Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, Child Protection or similar
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the community
