Job title: Workshop Manager
Location: FIFO to Karratha – 2:1 roster
Salary $175 000 – $200 000 per annum + Super + Annual leave and Personal leave
- MUST be Permanent residents or Australian Citizens to be successful for this role.
- MUST have a clean National police record and ability to pass Medical.
- Fly from Perth WA to Karratha workshop
About the role and client:
Oversee the ongoing management and maintenance of plant and machinery to required specifications and in line with company and regulatory standards. Ensure a high-quality level of work so plant and machinery operate safely and efficiently.
- Providing leadership and supervision to a team of trades persons, apprentices/trainees, trades assistants and administrative support.
- Driving efficiency within the team to meet deadlines whilst ensuring team members comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety-first culture is consistent within the team.
- Providing input and advice with regards to the purchase and sourcing of plant and equipment
- Ensuring accurate, cost effective and timely ordering of parts and consumables to align with scheduled and repair/breakdown maintenance.

Experience and Qualifications.
- Trade Qualified HD Mechanic (Essential), HR drivers licence (Preferred), Current Forklift (Preferred)
- 5+ Years experience as a Workshop Manager within a similar Heavy duty mobile equipment industry
- Knowledge of CAT and Volvo equipment, electronic diesel engines, hydraulics
