Estimator
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a growing insurance and building services team, specialising in major loss, remediation, and complex residential/commercial insurance projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and supporting projects from initial assessment through to completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for major insurance projects Review scopes of works, reports, drawings, and engineering documentation Complete accurate take-offs and costings across complex building projects Liaise with clients, assessors, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers Assist with tender submissions and variations Ensure estimates align with project requirements, budgets, and timelines Provide technical advice and support to project teams Maintain strong industry relationships with insurers, loss adjusters, and stakeholders About You 4 + Years experience as an Estimator Strong understanding of residential and commercial building processes Experience estimating large-scale insurance claims and reinstatement projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and subcontractor pricing Ability to interpret scopes, drawings, and technical reports Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness Strong communication and negotiation skills Desirable Experience with estimating software such as CostX, Cubit, Buildsoft, Bluebeam, or similar Trade background (Carpentry preferred but not essential) Experience working with insurance builders, loss adjusters, or major insurers What’s On Offer Competitive salary package Stable pipeline of major insurance projects Career progression opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity to work on complex and high-value projects How to Apply If you’re interested in this opportunity, apply now or contact Holly Donaghey directly: Email: holly.donaghey@evolvetalent.com.au

About the Role: We are looking for electricians to join our client on an industrial project in Ipswich. There is long term work available with the project due to run into next year. Experience/Skills Assisting with the installation of cable tray, cables. Assist with the installation, wiring, and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades. Control panel construction and modifications Mains and submains installation and terminations Requirements: Electrical Licence White Card CPR/LVR EWP High Risk WP (beneficial) How to apply? We are partnering with a leading remedial construction company with over 50 years of industry experience, delivering high-quality projects across Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who enjoys leading site teams, driving programmes, and delivering projects to a high standard. About the Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations from commencement through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients to maintain quality outcomes and efficient site performance.
