Ben Newnham

Executive Director of Operations

Ben has over 14 years’ experience in recruitment in Australia having started his career in agencies, serving as the onsite manager for a large rail and logistics company with over 250 staff across five warehouses running 24hrs a day.

Ben then made the switch over to the contractor side of the recruitment industry where he spent spent a decade in national management roles for global companies like Forge Group, CB&I, Cape Plc (Altrad) and most recently Sodexo. During this period he lead teams of 25+ recruiters on projects manning up from 20 to 2000 people working across energy, mining, LNG, O&G Maintenance & FM, construction and hospitality services. D&I is a personal passion of Ben’s and his role at Sodexo allowed him the opportunity to sit on the Australian Diversity & Inclusion Council and the Global Steering Committee for Disability Recruitment.

Where Ben excels: Building high performing teams who operate in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Resourcing & Recruitment strategies including local sourcing initiatives in remote regions and D&I initiatives.

Honest, hardworking, reliable but above all he is ethical. These values are instilled into his teams.

Ben is an avid basketball fan and has played socially for over 30yrs, he enjoys spending downtime with his wife and two children.
